Suhin is a co-founder of Upgrade Manufacturing, Inc., where he focuses on developing ML/AI-based manufacturing assistant tools, particularly for small- to medium-sized machine shops.

Suhin has over 7 years of experience in the mechanical engineering research field. Suhin worked at the Hyundai Motor Company, Seoul National University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a research engineer/scientist.

He holds a B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering.

A fun fact about Suhin is that he loves watching soccer games with his son.

Sebastiaan is a Computer Science Fellow at DREAM Venture Labs where he works on DREAM Venture Lab’s experiential learning programming to teach students to develop, setup and configure service management and workflow applications with ServiceNow using software development methodologies.

Sebastiaan is founder of SdV Consultancy LLC, a consultancy company that provides information technology (IT) advisory, architecture and implementation services focused on Service Management. They specialize in improving and optimizing your processes using technology that works with people. He has over 18 years of experience in (IT) Service Management, consulting, training and teaching and holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.

Fun fact about Sebastiaan is that he has a second degree black belt in Judo and likes to go skiing and scuba diving.

Irene is a BioPhysics Fellow at DREAM Venture Labs, where she collaborates with students on hands-on educational projects that bring Physics concepts to life.
As a Quality Control Associate at Akston Biosciences, she ensures the precision and safety of pharmaceutical products by conducting thorough testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and final products.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics.

In her free time, Irene enjoys exploring new worlds through reading fiction.

Mengshen Chen is a Biological Sciences Build Fellow at Dream Venture Labs, where he works with students leading projects in biological sciences.

Mengshen is a senior scientist, protein science at Valo Health, where he focuses on drug development projects.

Mengshen has over 10 years of experience in the biological sciences field, with over 7 years in academia and over 3 years in industry.

He holds a Ph.D. degree in biological sciences.

Danielle Kim is a Build Fellow at Dream Ventures Lab, where she works with students leading projects in finance.
Danielle is an analyst at Analog century management, where she focuses on fundamental equity research for long short equity strategies.

Danielle has over 5 years of experience in the public equities investment field. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Princeton University.

A fun fact about Danielle is that she has travelled to more countries than provinces in my home country.

Akshay Mavani is an Industrial Engineering Build Fellow at Dream Venture Labs, where he works with students leading projects in Supply Chain Optimization in the Biotech and Pharmaceutical Industry.

Akshay is a Senior Associate Scientist at Strand Therapeutics, Inc., where he focuses on developing and optimizing RNA-based therapeutic processes and their associated costs through strategic experimental designs to generate high-quality drug substances to support early-stage drug product development to its phase trials in late-stage targeting solid tumor cancer diseases within the oncology space.

Akshay has over four years of experience in the Biotech industry and worked previously at Tessera Therapeutics and Moderna, Inc. during COVID. He acquired expertise in process developments at small and large scales, solving problems in end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain and leading projects to meet narrow timelines to deliver drug products to patients in high need. He holds a B.E. in mechanical engineering, an MSc in industrial engineering, and an MBA in executive engineering.

A fun fact about Akshay is that he is left-handed and loves playing tennis and volleyball in his free time.

Arthur Exley Edwards is an Agronomist at DREAM Venture Labs where he works with students leading projects on how to establishing a high yield soybean crop. With 13 years of experience working in several countries such as Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia and the United States, assisting and leading teams to achieve high results with soybeans, Corn, Cotton, Wheat, Edible Beans, Chip Potatoes and Sweet Potatoes. Currently working for Black Gold Farms, a family business focused on the production of Potato Chips, Sweet Potatoes and various commodities such as Soybeans, Corn, Wheat, etc.

Shreyasi is a Regulatory Affairs Build Fellow at DREAM Venture Labs, where she works with students leading projects in the Regulatory Affairs landscape.

Shreyasi is a Quality Improvement Specialist at WelbeHealth, where she focuses on the maintenance and implementation of the Quality Improvement program and monitors compliance with state and federal regulations
Shreyasi has over 8 years of experience in the Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Clinical Dentistry, and Research field. Throughout her experience, she has effectively managed patient care processes and streamlined workflows to ensure operational efficiency, deliver high-quality patient outcomes, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, demonstrating a strong foundation in public health and regulatory affairs within the healthcare landscape. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health, a Master’s degree in Clinical Dentistry, and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

Sara Rodriguez is a Civil Engineer Build Fellow at Dream Venture Labs, where she works with students leading projects in marine construction, including the construction and modernization of port berths and other critical marine infrastructure.

Sara is a Project Engineer at Orion Marine Construction, where she focuses on managing large-scale projects such as berth rehabilitations and bridge replacements. Her responsibilities include cost estimation, project scheduling, structural analysis, and overseeing the installation of key components like combiwalls, fenders, and utilities.

Sara has over five years of experience in the Project and Construction Management field, specializing in marine and heavy civil construction. She has worked on high-profile projects such as the Port Canaveral NCB4 Rehabilitation and Modernization and the Berth 268 Rehabilitation at Port Tampa Bay. Her expertise spans from geotechnical analysis and structural engineering to project budgeting and risk assessment.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida and will complete her Master’s in Project Management from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology in December 2024. Additionally, she holds certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour Construction and Advanced Maintenance of Traffic.
